Yasmine Bleeth, born in New York on June 14 1968, began her acting career at the tender age of six months. That's right, she was featured as the Johnson & Johnson baby in the infamous "No More Tears" shampoo commercial. By age six, she appeared in a Max Factor campaign, which ultimately caught the eye of fashion photographer, Francesco Scavullo. At 12 years of age, Yasmine landed a role in the feature film Hey Babe starring opposite Buddy Hackett. Thus began her career in acting. Yasmine attended the United Nations International School in New York whilst juggling both a modeling and acting career. Already well experienced in the acting field, Yasmine began acting in the soap opera Ryan's Hope by 16 years old. Her role lasted for four years before Yasmine moved on to yet another soap; this time it was One Life To Live. Yasmine, however, is probably most famous for her well-known role as Caroline Holden in the worldwide hard-hitting drama (we're kidding) Baywatch, which began in 1994. During her three-year run on the bikini clad show, People magazine voted her one of 1995's 50 most beautiful people. Her stint on Baywatch landed Yasmine some made-for-TV movies including The Lake, Ultimate Betrayal, Road Rage, and A Face To Die For. She finally got her big screen debut in the movies BASEketball and Undercover Angels, although these films did not generate any monumental appeal. More recently, Yasmine starred opposite Don Johnson in the CBS hit show Nash Bridges and has moved on to play the vixen in Aaron Spelling's latest nighttime soap opera Titans. Yasmine' s personal life met tragedy in 1992 when her mother, Cartina, died of breast cancer. In turn, this inspired her to open her own website for breast cancer research at www.yasmineonline.com Although Yasmine had a short-lived relationship with Friends actor Matthew Perry, she has been dating actor Richard Grieco for a few years now and she currently resides in Los Angeles. |
